Mexican sculptor and painter Leonardo Pereznieto creates work that captures the human spirit's splendor, and the essence of vessels and the sea. He has exhibited his work in museums and galleries worldwide, including Florence, London, Paris, Monte Carlo, Nice, Frankfurt, Seoul, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.

Youngest son of painter Fernando Pereznieto and Author and Classical Guitarist Corazón Otero, he was raised in an artistic and cultural environment that fostered his creativity. At eight, he had his first exhibit alongside his father at the Goya Gallery in Mexico City. 

Pereznieto studied classical techniques at the New York Academy of Art and Digital Art at the Voxel School of Madrid. He has been awarded numerous prizes, including recognition from the International Art Festival (New York), Premio Firenze (Italy), and the Gold Medal at the Italy Award for Visual Arts.

He has delivered over fifty lectures worldwide, including at the New York Academy of Art, the Wharton Alumni Club of New York, the Celebrity Centre London, the University of Michigan, and the Kharkov State University in Ukraine.

He is the author of two popular instructional books, The Basics of Drawing - The Ultimate Guide for Beginners and You Can Draw! Simple Techniques for Realistic Drawings, published by SoHo Publishing in New York. 

Leonardo has been featured in global publications such as Forbes (USA), Forbes (Mexico), ¡Hola! (Mexico), and Players of Life (Mexico).

Pereznieto has over 2.8 million subscribers on his YouTube channels, with over 200 million views. 

He is passionate about yachting, has worked in vessels since he was young, has learned the basics of seafaring, and has steered up to a 134m vessel in the day and night. His love for the sea is often reflected in his art. 

Pereznieto is also concerned about improving people and society. He has worked with the Artists for Human Rights foundation to raise awareness of the UN's Universal Declaration for Human Rights; he has organized several drug prevention courses and lectures for the youth. He has also volunteered and been a speaker for The Way to Happiness and the Youth for Human Rights foundations.

Leonardo Pereznieto resides in Madrid, Spain, where he continues his successful artistic career, creating work that explores the cultural messages and lessons he has gathered throughout his life.
